Could I use resources dated june 2020 ( is there major change in syllabus from than)? First time attempting SBL exam.
Also, I’m starting the preparation today. Could you please suggest, How should I plan in terms of syllabus coverage and practice.
I’m full time employee (as auditor). Able to spare 2hours on daily basis, Including full day on Saturday & Sunday.
I know. I’m short in time but rather than giving in December I preferred to give in September attempt.
Any suggestion or tip is absolutely appreciated.
July 28, 2024 at 9:39 pm #708933Your time is limited so my advice is to rely first on our notes ans lectures. These are up-to-date. Do not start to read a text book. This is an exam primarily focused in application, not knowledge and reading a text book means too much time and emphasis on knowledge.
Question practice is absolutely VITAL. You can use the 2020 revision kit supplemented by recent exam questions published on the ACCA site. These questions will be presented on line so that you can practise using the exam interface and see the current exam format.
Go to a text book only if you need more information about a topic.
It is also very useful to read the ACCA’s technical articles.
