Hello,
I received an email stating that I have an exam expiring in Sept ’24.
However, my exam status report shows the earliest expiry date to be Sept ’26.
For more context, I passed my first professional-level paper in September 2017. So initially, it was set to expire this year itself but in 2022, I received an email from ACCA stating that they have extended the expiry by 2 years due to covid and it correctly reflects this change on the portal as well.
So I’m perplexed as to why I received this email. I have written to them for more clarification regarding this matter, but I’m feeling extremely anxious and decided to seek help here in the meantime. I also tried calling them, but it was impossible to get through to them. Can someone please help me out with this? I did look it up on this link: https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/getting-started/rules-and-regulations-for-students/time-limits.html but it doesn’t mention anything about the covid extension.
Also, assuming that my exam pass does expire in Sept ’24, does it mean that even if I pass my last exam in the Sept ’24 session, it will still expire?
July 18, 2024 at 3:29 pm #708667Omigosh, I just received an email from ACCA stating that the email was sent in error to a small number of students. I don’t know how to delete this thread so decided to post an update.
Boy, am I glad! A major relief.
