Dear Kim , I have passed all my skill module exams and i have one month and i know i wont be able to prepare for SBR in one month , can finish syllabus but then wont be able to practice .I thought i would take lectures and do espm this month . But i want to know ur advise . Wil.l i able to do ESPM on time ? how long ESPM takes ? etc
According to ACCA’s FAQs https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/help/faq-ethics.html it takes about 20 hours + the final assessment, which is timed at 2 hours (though it can be attempted as many times as is necessary).
We ran a poll on it some years ago https://opentuition.com/topic/how-long-did-it-take-to-complete-acca-ethics-and-professional-skills-module as it didn’t seem to me that 20 was sufficient time to do it thoroughly, and that was before the introduction of the data analysis unit. The average time of the 100 respondents was c.32 hours.
I hope that gives you sufficient idea for the amount of time to allow!
