    Hi, the answer in the back includes tax year 24/25 in the basis period assessment which makes no sense as no accounting period falls within this tax year. Is this an error as well? Kindly let me know.

    I think you will find that the accounts ending 30 6.2024 fall in that tax year

    yes but the trading profits are only given up to year ended 30 June 2023 so that doesn’t make any sense to me.

    The dates in the Q should be – Clair joining the partnership in 2023 and the profits should be for 2022, 2023 and 2024.
    There is an error – sorry.
