The Financial Management syllabus also demands detailed knowledge of specific models and techniques for each component of working capital – cash, inventory, receivables and payables – and a well-prepared candidate must also be competent in using them all.
So you must have an knowledge of for example:

    Overtrading
Cash constraints and surpluses-what to do, what causes them.
Trade receivables-what to do to improve your position-factoring, discounts etc
The difference between profitability and liquidity
What causes an operating cycle to be larger than we expect-nature of business, power of suppliers
What you can do about your payables.

    Well
You have to have a good sound knowledge of working capital.
Practice by looking at questions to see what they are asking for.

If I write something how will I be able to know whether it is correct or incorrect by just looking at the model answer without anyone checking it and giving feedback

You are asking an impossible question to answer.
It all depends on whether you can understand the requirements. If you can’t then you don’t know enough!

The examiner writes fairly clear questions.
By looking through the exam kit you can see the type of question asked and see the answer.

If you read the question and think it’s something you know, then make some notes or try and answer the question, then check the answer.

If you read something and think, I don’t know what this is asking. Read the question and answer carefully in full. Then make notes on the question and answer, so you can refer back to them.
