Hi,
I have something to confirm on question A, when calcualting the labour cost which we will be using the y=ax^b
I’m confused because as per what I understand, a should be the “time taken” for the 1st batch
But why when calculating for this, the suggested answer showing total cost 5 hours x cost 18 per hour = 90$?
Thanks
I think i know why, cause we want to calculate the cost instead of average time, that’s why the suggested answer directly multiply with the cost per hour i.e 18$ to get the labour cost.
Let me know if my understanding is not correct.
It is because you are calculating the total VC =MC
So labour is 5 hours at $18 = $90
Thank you
