Hi Sir! I was wondering whether there was a quickest way of doing question romeo co than using a tabular approach to calculate material mix and yield variance. Using the tabular approach as seem in the model answer seems a bit time consuming. Are there any alternative approaches?
This is the best method
Do watch our free lectures on mix and yield variances, because we explain this very well.
As I am sure you are aware – the lectures are a complete free course for Paper PM and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
Ok Sir
The tabular method is the quickest and easy to learn
Honestly it is
AQ AM
Gives you mix in qty
AQ SM
Gives you yield in qty
SQ SM
Then multiply by std contribution
Gives you the answer
