Hello, I have a query regarding the membership form. Since I have completed my ACCA exams in September 2023 sitting, I request my ex manager who works for an approved ACCA employer to sign my PER and he did.
I left the company 3 years ago but I had completed 37 months there.
Now regarding the membership form, I saw the line ‘ACCA reserves the right to independently seek verification from the Approved employer’.
I would like to know if ACCA will contact my manager or the HR?
What questions are they gona ask?
What are they going to verify?

October 22, 2023 at 7:32 am #693805The “Approved Employer” would be the firm/company and the person ACCA would contact, I believe, would be the designated person(s) in the firm/company responsible for its Approved Employer status. I would have thought that would be in a department with responsibility for professional qualifications training. They could reasonably ask for confirmation of your start and leave dates.
