Hi
Should I buy studytext Or would study hub text be enough ?
thank you for the free lectures and notesSeptember 13, 2023 at 8:03 am #691983Welcome to my forum!
You don’t say whether you have taken a look at it yet https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/your-study-options/studyhub.html
I think the only reason to buy a physical book is if you prefer and study better with hardcopy rather than reading on screen.
Take a look at it … it has 31 chapters – and is a comprehensive a text which has tools to make notes, bookmark sections and highlight. Like our own modest offering https://opentuition.com/acca/aa it has end-of-chapter quizzes (so that’s 150+ MCQs) and flashcards to cover definitions.

I’ll use studyhub and opentuition notes then, thanks
September 17, 2023 at 9:31 am #692132Studyhub and Studytexts are both equally comprehensive.
However, I believe study text is better organized, explained, and valuable with their TYUs and examples.September 17, 2023 at 2:26 pm #692145@mjunaid38 – you are entitled to an opinion, of course, though I doubt you have looked at every exam to know which is the “better organised” or “better explained” in each case. I suggest that the end-of-chapter quizzes, in-chapter activities and study question bank practice questions are all tools for testing understanding in the Study Hub product. It is also FREE to all students.

You are right that I haven’t seen/read all exams as I am still a student.
What I wanted to say was that I liked the explanations and structure of the study text better but that might of course be due to my habits or personal preferences.
The study hub is great on its own as well. I apologize if there was any confusion. - AuthorPosts
