In answer scheme, Q3(b) state that the yield interest is 3% and 4%. I cannot find any in the scenario. Help me please
September 1, 2023 at 9:21 am #691104Part (b) is asking you to demonstrate that the interest payment does not change and so to demonstrate you can use any two interest rates – one higher and one lower. The answer chose 3% and 4% but you could have done (for example) for 2% and 5% or any two rates.
September 1, 2023 at 11:22 am #691113Does it means we can choose any number because at the end the outcome will be the same ?
September 1, 2023 at 4:07 pm #691134Yes it does.

September 2, 2023 at 8:07 am #691170You are welcome 🙂
(However they would expect you to use reasonably realistic numbers – so not 1% and 20% 🙂
It would work but they would not be very likely changes in the interest rates.) - AuthorPosts
