following information are given.
ROL 800 units
Average lead time 7 days
Average daily demand 100 units
EOQ 2000 units
A purchase was made in accordance to above and demand was as expected. The suppliers delivered as expected seven days from the date of order.
How many units were in inventory immediately after delivery?August 29, 2023 at 8:28 am #690874Please do not simply type out full questions and expect to be provided with a full answer. You must have an answer in the same book in which you found the question and so in future ask about whatever it is in the answer that you are not clear about – then I will explain.
If they reorder when they have 800 units, then when the new order of 2,000 units arrives they will. have sold 7 x 100 = 700 units. Therefore immediately after the delivery they will have 2,100 units.
