Chapter reference: Ch# 1 (Law GLO).
These are functions and components under these 3 separate authorities :-
Legislature:
Drafts, Creates and passes laws. Elected rep (parliament members)…Judiciary:
Interpret and applies these laws on relevant situations. Judges, magistratesExecutive
Implement and enforces laws. Head of state, cabinet and government…So many different departments come under it and few of them are like police, prison systems…—
My question:
I was wondering which authority enforces the law. My guess is executive, as they are held accountable for many different actions.
Legislature drafts law, and judiciary interprets and apply…
Ill appreciate your input on it.
Thanks
August 20, 2023 at 8:22 am #690309This is what you have posted: ‘Executive Implement and enforces laws.’
and this what you have asked: ‘I was wondering which authority enforces the law’
Am I missing something here?
August 22, 2023 at 8:02 am #690443I had a doubt that executive don’t enforce law…so I wanted to confirm it with you.
August 22, 2023 at 7:36 pm #690479You are correct – the executive does enforce the law. And the police are a branch of the executive.
OK?
