Sir if a seller issues a non negotiable bill of lading then the buyer can get goods without bill of lading
Right??
Since non negotiable bill of lading is not a document of titleMarch 1, 2023 at 7:03 am #679846Agreed – a non-negotiable bill of lading is NOT a document of title.
But just because it’s not necessary to produce a non-negotiable bill of lading to establish title, I cannot imagine a carrier handing over goods to a claimant buyer without there being some requirement of proof of entitlement.
OK?
March 1, 2023 at 7:10 am #679847Okay sir so
We can agree that bill of lading is required by buyer to get the goods releasedMarch 1, 2023 at 7:26 am #679853We can agree that SOME form of identification is required.
Krrish, much as I admire your thoroughness in these studies, I really do not wish to spend substantial parts of my daily life answering your “what-if” questions
Today, I’ve had enough. No doubt I shall have a raft of questions to enlighten my day tomorrow but no more from me today.
