Will students lose marks for not formatting amounts as currency?
For example, entering 200000, rather than using spreadsheet currency formatting to make it £200,000
February 26, 2023 at 3:20 pm #679633I’m not sure to be honest but as it is a financial exam and the model answers are in currency then I would think its a preferable and professional approach to take.
As long as you are consistent.February 26, 2023 at 4:05 pm #679638It certainly looks better, but since that there is no default £ formatting it means you have to create a custom format anew for every question, which given the time pressure we’re under seems like an enormous waste of time.
