Sir there is a question in acca specimen exam
    It is the 50th question
My doubt is why Gram is only convicted of fraudulent trading….shouldn’t he be convicted of wrongful trading also?

I don’t access the ACCA Specimen Exam and, from what I understand, the questions are regularly changed.

If you want an answer to a specific question I’m sorry but you will haqve to type it out in full

Meanwhile, here’s an extract from Lawyer Monthly magazine, written by Stephen Halloran, a director at Lawtons Solicitors referring to the difference between fraudulent and wrongful trading. Maybe this will help you with your question.

    OK?

“The main difference between the two is the intent and deception behind the actions. Fraudulent trading is the more severe issue, due to being viewed as a criminal offence. Whereas wrongful trading, although still serious, is a civil offence with a less severe intent behind it.
