January 16, 2023 at 12:34 am #676246Passed w/ a 54! Finally done w/ ATX!!!
January 16, 2023 at 12:52 am #676266Congratulations! Quick question, passed SBR, going to sit ATX, However, Open Tuition doesn’t support ATX, did you self study or with any learning provider? Any recommendations?
January 16, 2023 at 1:34 am #676286This is my second attempt and I scored 36. I need help.
Who needs a study buddy ?
How did you prepare for the exam?
I am planning to write the exam in March 2023 .
Is there any online tuition centre that does revision class for atxJanuary 16, 2023 at 1:36 am #676287I am really sad, this is suppose to be my final paper . I don’t know if there is something I am doing wrong . I have tried to study alone but it is not working out
January 16, 2023 at 3:40 am #676307Any tips to pass this ATX paper? Going to sit for the exams this june.
January 16, 2023 at 5:52 am #6763471. Know your legislation
2. Practice as many questions and past papers as you can. Remember it is less calculations and more discursive at this level
3. Pay attention to the examiner reports
4. Syllabus change from June – there will be more professional marks available
5. Best of luck!January 16, 2023 at 6:27 am #676372I cleared finally on my 2nd attempt with 53%, thank the lord. Now onto my final paper SBL
January 16, 2023 at 6:32 am #676374WRITE THE THEORY RELATED TO THE PROBLEM AND ASSOSCIATE IT AFTER. FOR EXAMPLE IF ITS A CAPITAL GAIN GROUP LOSS RELIEF, WRITE WHAT A CAP GAIN GROUP IS THEN WHETHER THE COMPANY IN THE QUESTION IS A CAP GAIN GROUP AND THEN WRITE HOW LOSS RELIEF IS DEALT WITH FOLLOWED BY THE ACTUAL INCLUSION OF FIGURES IF ANY.
PRACTICE REV KIT AS WELL, I ACTUALLY HAD A TECHNICAL ISSUE AND WROTE ON THE 2ND WEEK REMOTE, AND I GOT MY 35 MARKER AS THE SAME MODEL FROM A REV KIT QUESTION (RAY AND SHANIRA)
I ACTUALLY MISMANAGED BY TIME SO I ACTUALLY ATTEMPTED ONLY 76 MARKS AND BASICALLY LOST 23 TO PASS, I LITERALLY THINK IT WAS MY 35M THAT SAVED ME
January 16, 2023 at 7:22 am #676390Passed with 71 ?
January 16, 2023 at 9:02 am #676428Passed with 70% so happy! Commiserations for those who didn’t pass but never give up you will get their in the end.
January 16, 2023 at 9:32 am #676438Passed first time with 66% Yippee.
January 16, 2023 at 9:50 am #676447Congratulations to those who passed ATX! May I ask where did you study ATX as Open Tuition doesn’t provide support for ATX. Thank you. Good luck to everyone who is battling ACCA!
January 16, 2023 at 11:23 am #676490I would recommend either, Kaplan, eagle education or stay sharp!
January 16, 2023 at 4:30 pm #676610I would recommend Accowtancy
January 16, 2023 at 5:35 pm #67662680%
January 16, 2023 at 5:43 pm #676627I’d recommend First Intuition and/or BPP
January 18, 2023 at 1:11 pm #676895I passed AAA with 55%, Failed ATX- UK 31%. I am so happy that I passed the hard one after more than 5 attempts on AAA plus I wrote when these 2 when I was very sick.
I am not sure what I did wrong in ATX. In my mind before the results I was thinking I will pass Tax then fail AAA or pass both at once. The 31% is not a true reflecting the knowledge I have for tax I think the examiner was not happy with me for use of the spreadsheet for the calc questions. That’s the problem with ACCA you will never know were you might have gone wrong unless you left out questions or if you did not prepare good enough.January 18, 2023 at 2:33 pm #67691483% in ATX for December 2022 – Onto the final exam now!

January 20, 2023 at 7:37 am #677082Hi
I also used excel for my answer so it has nothing to do with that.
It’s painful to fail but it’s important to put it behind you.January 20, 2023 at 7:39 am #677083I used aileen Edgar for atx and passed first time at 75.
Highly recommend
January 20, 2023 at 4:44 pm #677112Passed with 69% first attempt.for those who did not make it; don’t get demotivated.ATX syllabus is huge so never mind
I am sharing my experience how I study what difficulties I have come across and how I overcome
FIRST you need a tutor and don’t look for free resources. I did my tuition from LSBF. The tutor was ok but the hand notes were great.
I took the pre recorded live tuition lectures of September and registered for tutor support for December exam attempt
I watched all lectures and made my own notes in 25 days. Once I finished my notes I start making the summary notes of each topics ( CT IHT STD CGT IT VAT) which includes bullet points covering each and single point of each topicATX rules are enormous therefore mostly overlap in you mind.
I kept on repeating the summary notes on daily basis which almost cover one topic every day for example I cover corporation tax in one day and IHT in next day etc
Remember not to skip anything and don’t consider anything less importantThe above exercise I do for 25 days.once I think my grip on understanding is strong I start practicing past paper exams
I suggest you to practice from KAPLAN exam kit as questions are nicley divided in sections.
For.ATX you need to practice at least 40 to 45 questions in total. While doing practice you will come across little new small points. Note down these in your handnotes with respective topic.
The final 6 days attempt 5 to 6 days CBE platform exam under true exam time pressure
I bet with you if you do the above you will feel confident in exam and relaxed
I hope this will help
January 20, 2023 at 5:20 pm #677114Continue above comment
Remember if you go for LSBF. Ask for recorded live tuition ( of latest session) which are almost 10 to 11 lectures ( each 2 hours)
Donot ask for pre recorded videos - AuthorPosts
