11.11 Backing up computer files and storing copies of software in separate locations to the main system are examples of which type of controls?
a) Prevent
b) Detect
c) Correct
answer: C) Correct (bpp kit)
But I think it would be prevented, cause backing up computer files and storing copies seems to prevent any hazard.
please correct me if I’m wrong
thanks
That would not prevent, for example, a malicious party from changing or deleting data – or in deed an innocent error.
If the file becomes corrupted then you could correct that by using the back-up copy.
