Hey Chris,
Hope you’re doing fine. I will be sitting for the FM exam in March as I’m not a full time student and will only be able to get sufficient leaves to deal with one exam only. So I was thinking about studying for SBR in the meanwhile as I have already covered the FM syllabus and lectures but did not book an exam in December because I had FR and AA already and did not have enough time for the practice.
I will be appearing for 2 exams in June, SBR and AAA. So, I know you do not teach AAA but your judgement would obviously be much better than mine so should I study SBR or AAA considering I have studied for the final level Financial Reporting and Audit of another chartered accountancy body before claiming exemptions for ACCA? I will obviously be focusing more on FM for March but I do intend to practice SBR/AAA questions as well.
Please let me know what you think would be best for me. Also, do I have to worry about EPSM for now? I mean I saw an official ACCA video that said that it helps for the professional level exams and students who have completed the EPSM show a better pass rate and I think I’ve read on a forum where someone said it did help them a lot because they got to learn how to write. It would be really appreciated if you’d provide some guidance on it as well.
Thanks
December 15, 2022 at 1:21 pm #6746731. Follow the ACCA advice re Ethics.
2.AAA requires a good understanding of SBR. So do SBR first.
3. Don’t be offended but shorten your sentences. Anything over 12 words becomes hard to understand.
