Hello Sir,
I’ve been opted out from BSc OBU degree today as I am not interested in that due to some other commitments. Which means is there any option that I can claim exemption in the paper AA? And I wish to waive off the exemption in the paper PM. Is it possible to do that sir?
Thanks
November 16, 2022 at 8:21 am #671566Only if you have a degree that gives these exemptions. You can’t claim exemptions based on work experience, for example.
November 16, 2022 at 8:25 am #671567If you mean you want to forfeit the PM exemption, I don’t think that’s possible but (1) you can check with ACCA https://forms.accaglobal.com/contact-us and (2) you can still study it even not taking the exam.

Thank you for your response sir. And apologies for not informing that I have a degree which gives me exemptions from BT to TX exams. So is that now possible sir?
November 16, 2022 at 9:50 am #671599So there’s no avoiding having to do AA and, as I said, you’ll have to ask ACCA directly re PM but I expect the answer is “no” I.e. you can’t pick and choose which exemptions you want to take advantage of … I.e. all or none.
November 17, 2022 at 5:11 am #671672Hello Sir,
I got response from mail ACCA. First is they told me to send all the transcripts and certificates of my degree to make an assessment to ensure whether am I eligible for claiming exemption for AA. I’ve sent all of my transcripts and certificates and waiting for their response.
Secondly, they’ve also given me an option to choose to which exemption to be forfeited. If they accept to give exemption for AA, then I’ll forfeit my exemption in the paper PM.

Good afternoon sir,
Got the update from Acca. They informed me that it’s not possible to grant exemption for the paper AA after assessment. Now, I’ve decided not to forfeit the exemption for PM paper…
Thank you for your information and support…
