    Hello john,
    For the section C descriptive questions ( usually from performance measurement that provide spreadsheets ) where marks are allocated for calculations, does the examiner expect us to show workings too? for example if a calculation for sales revenue groth is needed will merely writing sales revenue growth 15% in a table or mentioning it in the paragraph be enough or do we need to do the whole ( absolute increase/ prev yr )*100 = 15% thing?

    Assuming that your working are done in the spreadsheet then there is not need to show separate workings because the marker is able to see what functions you have used in the spreadsheet.

    Sorry, I meant word processor. Since we can’t really show how we got to the final figure do we have to show the workings ?

    Yes. In Section C it is the workings that are more important than the final answer.
