In the notes on Ethics, there are sections called ‘Ethics, the law and regulation’, ‘Ethical principles’, ‘Relativist or absolute?’ and ‘Examples of ethical problems facing managers’.
However, in the lecture these sections are not discussed at all. Does this mean they are not important to learn?
Lectures and notes are complementary. They should be used together.
Sometimes there are details in the notes that are not in lectures, perhaps because that would produce a lecture that is tediously long or perhaps because some details are more easier to read up on than to listen to.
