Sir can please tell me the difference between the following:
1. Cost centre manager
2. Investment centre manager
3. Profit centre manager
4. Revenue centre managerI have read the course note but was bit confused by these.
Thank you
August 23, 2022 at 11:16 am #664025You say that you have read the notes, but have you watched the lectures working through the notes? There is no point at all in using the notes without watching the lectures because they are only lecture notes and it is in the lectures that I explain and expand on the notes.
If you are not watching the lectures for any reason then the notes on their own are not enough and you need to buy a Study Text from one of the ACCA Approved Publishers.A cost centre manager is responsible only for the costs in the division.
A profit centre manager is responsible for the profits of the division.
An investment centre manager is responsible for the profits of the division but is also responsible for making decisions with regard to new investments.
A revenue centre manager is responsible only for the revenue of the division. What the managers performance is measured on depends on what they are responsible for.
