Sir, in relation to labour variance with idle time, there are two standard costs to be used. One is for labour rate variance and another one is for other variances such as efficiency and idle time variance, right?
The difference of the two is that one (to use in labour rate variance) does not include idle time and the other one includes idle time where it’s the standard hours worked. Please correct me if I’m wrong sir. Thank you very much, good day.
