I registered with ACCA in 2008, (more than 10 years ago) and did the first 6 exams and I was opted in the OxfordBrookes. I was reading the updated eligibility, that if i havent completed FR, AA and FM (which i havent), i can apply for the OB.
However, since i was opted in, it means technically, i am not eligible because of the 10 year rule. Does this mean, just because i ‘ticked’ the box all those years ago, i cant qualify for the OB? Or does the below superseed it?

You ticked the box on your ACCA registration form stating you did not wish to join the Oxford Brookes University degree programme. If you are yet to complete the (FR), (AA) or (FM) exams, you may opt back in to the BSc degree by contacting ACCA Connect.

Oxford Brookes BSc degree in Applied Accounting must be completed within 10 years of achieving your first positive result on the ACCA Qualification otherwise your eligibility will be withdrawn.”However, ACCA may have made some concession following the pandemic. Since it seems you have been invited to continue I suggest you follow up on the communication you have been sent – or contact ACCA directly https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/footer-toolbar/contact-us.html
