Hello! Do we need to learn case names and their dates and dates of the other acts that are mentioned in the syllabus. Do we also need to learn the facts and decision of the cases?

    Hi Saqib

Have you watched a single lecture of mine on this site?

    Even just one?

Even only the first minute of any single lecture?

What about just the first few words of any single lecture?

    Well. have you?

OK! Let me ask you to click on any lecture, watch the first minute and then, if you really feel the need, then post your question again

This site is not some mindless exercise whereby we can voluntarily give up our time in the enjoyment of recording lectures that we can give the World’s accountancy students free. We do also try to prepare you for these professional exams by giving you helpful information that will assist in guiding you through your professional studies

So, let me ask again. Will you please watch ANY lecture in the series of law lectures and, if you’re still unsure about case names, case dates, statute titles or section numbers within those statutes, then please, by all means, post again

As for ‘the facts and decision of the cases?’, strictly, no, there is no need to remember facts.

However, the cases detailed in any set of notes tend to be the ones where judicial precedent was established and are thus important cases in that they establish the common law. So, yes, in that respect, it is handy to remember the decisions because it is those decisions that are the fundamental basis upon which modern law is established

    OK?
