Consider if you have 50batches containers of sanitisers, each inte?n will be remunerated at a rate if $7.50 per hour,it takes 12hours to manufacture the first batch and a total cumulative time of 27hours to manufacture the 4th batch.. Questions: determine the learning rate and determine the time it takes to complete the 8th bath.
This is not a question related to the BA1 syllabus.
However, the cumulative average unit time for 4 batched is 27/4 = 6.75 Cumulative average unit time for first is 12. There are two doublings of cumulative output needed to get from 1 to 4, so two applications of the learning factor:
L x L x 12 = 6.75 L = 0.75.
To find the time to make the 8th batch work out total time for all 8 and deduct the total time needed for 7 batches. For that you need a formula which would be supplied in whatever study material you are using for whatever paper you are asking about.
