Can anyone explain how the Practice Question 8 of ACCA Opentuition Notes (TX-UK) 2022 was solved?
Aha! Thank you for telling me about this – it appears that the answer shown has clearly not been properly prepared!!
There should indeed be a property loss of £3,500 in the first part of the question being rental income of £10,500 less expenses of £14,000 – the note covering the second part of the answer is correct.
