    Hi

If you complete part A) of a question wrong, but you are required to use your answer to part A) in part B), will they take your incorrect answer as correct, and therefore, you will still be able to gain full marks in part B)? For example part A) you were asked to calculate Trading Income Assessments of partners, and part B) you were asked to use that income to calculate Income Tax liabilities.

Also, does the same apply within workings in the question? For example, if you calculate property income wrong in your CT computation (and therefore TTP is incorrect), will you still gain the 1/2 mark for your CT liability @ 19%?

    Thanks

This is of course only in Section C where there are written questions – and yes as long as you have shown where your figures have come from and you have then used them correctly in the later part of the question you will still be awarded the marks
