Hi, how many WPM should one be able to type for f8 exam? I’m currently around 35-40 WPM and wondering if this is ok
February 16, 2022 at 7:31 am #648693You don’t need any speed for the AA exams – 30% of the exam has no typing.
The average length of a sentence in the model answers for a “risks” Q, say, is 22 words (a students’ sentences should be shorter than this).
You have 125 minutes in which to answer Section B – you could type 70 sentences with 12.8 WPM … you absolutely don’t need speed – it’s much better to “THINK – before you type” – and certainly the marker does not want to have to read pages and pages of type in search of relevant answer points.
