Why price discrimination goods must not be able to move freely between marget segments. Can you please explain.
If they were able to move freely then everyone would buy at the cheapest price. It is only when they are not able to move freely that buyers in one segment are forced to pay a higher price than buyers in another segment.
I do explain all of this (with examples) in my free lectures on pricing.
The lectures are a complete. free course for Paper PM and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
Thank you so much.
You are welcome 🙂
