Hi all
My history is short about two years ago I booked first exam then the exam was cancelled because of pandemic in September I booked exam again and then I was on quarantine and the exam was cancelled again. For now I already give up. I would like to come back to study but I am 40 years old and when everything will be good I will finish Acca about age 43. It’s worth?
I have to add that I am from Poland:(
Please give me an advice how to study and give me some motivation.Thank you
Try to find the inner strength to continue, it’s a tough road but the destination is worth it.
I was older than you when I became a member and it’s been the most satisfying journey I’ve been on.

First of all, put yourself in your (future) shoes. When you turn 44, would it be better for you if you were ACCA qualified or not? Just imagine that you are 44 now and you’re an ACCA. How does that feel?Second, the pandemic is impacting us all. I registered for March exam last week, and 2 days later I was told that my daughter’s kindergarden will be closed for at least a week due to one of her teachers getting Covid (so now I’m looking at a best case scenario with work from home+young child+study maybe at the weekend). I am an immigrant from SE Europe 😉 to the place where I currently reside, so no family to help.
Anyway my point is that disruptions due to Covid will be constant from now on, should we give up our lives? I will continue, and when I turn 42 next year I’ll be ACCA member or affiliate.
