What are the dimensions, standards, and rewards in the building block model?
I did not get these in your lecture. Please explain what are these and whether we’ll be tested on that?
The dimensions are the six areas for which we need measures of performance (as listed in my lectures).
Standards and rewards are not directly part of the building block model and are both dealt with elsewhere in my lectures.
Standards are the targets set for each of the measures against which the managers performance is measured.
Reward schemes are the way the company attempts to motivate managers to improve on the targets (for example, by giving bonuses if they do better).
Thanks SIR for explaining!
You are welcome.
