Could you please state the category of environmental costs which is stated by Hansen and Mendoza and explain them all.
These categories are stated in the technical articles but I did not understand them all. I couldn’t find your lecture on this that’s why I asked you this.
Is it true that we will be tested on this but no calculation?

External failure costs are costs involved where the outside world was affected. So an example it the cost of cleaning up pollution after it occurred.
Internal failure costs are costs involved due to waste etc. where the outside world was not affected. So an example is cleaning up pollution within the factory and so stopping it affecting the outside world.
Prevention costs are costs of stopping there being waste/pollution in the first place. So for example, changing production processes so as to stop there being any waste.
Detection costs are costs of checking/monitoring to see if there is any waste or pollution so that something can be done about it if it is occurring.
You cannot be asked for calculations on this.
