    Hi I’m currently preparing for FM exam.
    Relevant to Mutiple choice questions in Section A which require the student to enter the answer in the box provided, I there are certain answers that could be obtained in more than one way for instance using discounting factors or annuity factor however, the answers obtained may have a few dollars difference which are not rounding differences.
    I would like to know if there is just one specific answer that the student can type into that box or if there is a range that caters for the different answers obtained using different methods.

    Please clarify

    In the sort of situation that you are referring to then either the computer will accept a range of answers, or (more likely) the question will specifically ask for an answer to (for example) the nearest $1,000 so that any difference in rounding becomes irrelevant 🙂
