October 18, 2021 at 5:40 am #638107Hi Abdel
Thank you
To be honest, all topics are examined in the exams
To have a better chance of passing, you definitely have to go through all the syllabus.
NPV(Overseas), APV, hedging and mergers and acquisitions should be mastered as they are highly examined, be it theory questions or computations-wise.
Lastly, the remaining topics will definitely be covered via theoritical questions.
The exam consists of a huge number of theory questions.
Therefore, a thourough knowledge of the entire syllabus is needed, and even in ACCA crash courses, lecturers says so.
Good luck for your upcoming exams!?October 18, 2021 at 5:51 am #638112Hello Sir,
This was my first attempt writing an ACCA paper (I had 9 out of 13 exemptions). I honestly felt pretty lost during the last 6 months ( I started preparing in March) because I did not know how ACCA papers work.
However, I started preparing for all the 4 professional exams on my own and using your YouTube videos (SBL, SBR, APM and AFM) and the required texts and workbook. I cleared 3 out of the 4 papers in September 2021 my very first attempt of any ACCA exam.
My Marks –
SBL – 58
SBR – 58
AFM – 56
APM – 49could you please tell me if I should put it for revaluation.. Like I said before I am new to ACCA.. This is the first time I wrote any paper so I need some guidance on what is to be done. I would appreciate it if you could help me..
October 18, 2021 at 5:56 am #638113Thank you for the advise.

October 18, 2021 at 8:15 am #638157I just read some posts about the administrative review and it seems like it is a waste of money.. So I guess I will take a few days and decide on what is to be done .. it feels horrible seeing that 49 🙁
I am a qualified chartered accountant.. not a genius really .. a very average student..
October 18, 2021 at 8:31 am #638160Failed with 36% once again. Don’t know what’s going wrong as I time time structured the exam better this time so should have picked up more marks. Disappointing but we have to try again.
