To provide context to the situation, I was unsuccessful in the RAP in period 42 and on reviewing the markers feedback. I understand that I have failed in the presentation only (I failed to include a slide on conclusion).
I’m looking forward to resubmit the project in P43 in November 2021. The clarification I’m looking for is would I have to resubmit only the amended presentation file, as I have achieved a pass in all the other criteria and this was the only feedback mentioned by the marker, or do I need to resubmit the whole RAP?
I’ve pasted below the markers feedback, thanks in advance for the help.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS – FAIL
The presentation does not summarise the findings, analysis and conclusions of the research report (or it does not include its conclusions and, where appropriate, recommendations). You need to include conclusion and recommendation in your
presentation. You should also remove your references slide.What a nuisance and how frustrating for you! It is in the assessment criteria that you have to produce at least one slide for conclusions. Recommendations are normally only needed if you have done some primary data collection within the company where you work e.g. if you were Topic 6 on motivation and you are reporting back to your company but they would not be needed for Topics such as [old] Topic 8, 17, 18, 19 or 20 for example as they only use secondary data.
To be on the safe side do check that the other slides summarise the findings etc – for although it seems they have homed in on the Conclusions, it isn’t totally clear from the feedback that it was exclusively that – though that is the implication.
References themselves are normally not needed in the presentation – the only instance I can think of is if you were citing a special quote in which case you might mention who said it.
You may find that when resubmitting you may have to upload all of the other files that were passed as the system may not allow you to complete the submission process without them. However they will not be re-marked and whatever grade the report was awarded will be carried over to the resubmission

Hi Gillian, it definitely is very frustrating. I guess I was careless and completely forgot to include the slide on conclusions in my presentation?. I however did include both conclusions and recommendation in the RAP. For context I did topic 8 and used secondary sources of data, I guess I’ll include a slide on conclusion and recommendation and resubmit all the documents without any changes to the rest of them.
I was a bit taken aback when I got the result that I failed the RAP but when I received the feedback I was frustrated that I failed for this, and at the same time relieved that I passed the rest of the criteria.

Hello Gillian, I am preparing to submit in Nov. 2021 with topic 18. I created 18 slides in the presentation with 5 slides showing analysis of my findings with charts and a table. Other slides contain details of the 4Ps of marketing including business models used in the RAP. My question is, is this a good enough presentation approach or do I remove the 4ps and the business model leaving only slides with charts and table? My fear is that as this is not a topic such as topic 8, leaving only analysis slides (slides with charts) might not be sufficient for a pass.
Your slides should present your main findings and that would include those where you show APPLICATION of the 4 / 7Ps or any other models used in evaluating your company, as well as graphs relating to the assessment of the effectiveness of its marketing strategies. You also must include a slide on the Conclusions.
Don’t overload the slides with too much text – the reader shouldn’t have to spend lots of time reading content – clear bullet points are needed. Also avoid cramming more than 2 graphs or charts on one page as clarity of content is important.
