Distinguish between Revised forecast and Rolling forecast.
Also distinguish between Cost card and Job Card.
Revised: eg economy shrinks unexpected, so you change the forecast to keep it more realistic.
Rolling: continually drops last month and brings in new one 12 months away so that forecast always covers next 12 months.
Cost card: usually set out in advance for mass produced items on a cost per unit basis.
Job card: for a unique item, contract or job. Budget costs might be entered in advance then actual costs entered in another column
