I have bought the BPP Workbook for preparing SBL for Sept 21, however when I am watching the lecture video and note provided, it is difficult to find the same part in the book. Could you please suggest which material should I use for my study for the exam?
July 20, 2021 at 6:14 pm #628940I suggest you use the OT lectures and notes to give you with the basic knowledge needed. Then use the BPP Revision Kit to practise lots and lots of questions.
This exam will not ask you to reproduce knowledge, theories, models or frameworks. It will require you to apply models etc to solve the requirements set out in the exam.
There is a danger that if you spend too long on a workbook or text book, you will not spend enough time on question practice. Also, because you have spend ages learning theories in detail that you will want to show off your knowledge rather than apply it to solving problems.
Refer to the workbook only when you feel you need additional information.

July 22, 2021 at 4:54 pm #629139With SBL the problem with using study texts is thatyou spend too long studying and learning them and not enough time on question practice. There 8s certainly a body of knowledge that you need to know for the exam, but more important is application of common sense (backed up where relevant by theory) to question scenarios.
I feel our notes and lectures give enough basic information that will allow you to attempt questions well.
