Hi, Sir.
Corbel co trades in the perfume sector, recently bought two additional brand names, has approved, announced plans and management committed to a formal plan for the closure of the 6 italian stores and active search for a single buyer for their assets.
The stores are being closed because of the increased demand by Corbel company’s internet sales.
Ans: The 6 stores a/cted for as a discontinued operation as represent component of company and are a seperate geographical area of operations.
My question is how to know the 6 stores are in seperate geographical area of operations, since they all are in Italy?
I have no idea. Perhaps the question writer put the other stores in other countries.
All that matters is that students know the definitions.
Thank you 🙂
My pleasure.
