Hello sir,
Hope you are doing well.
In question number 19.7,
The answer in the book says cash and cash equivalents at the beginning of the period is 634.
I’m not quite understanding how?
Kindly,explain

I think that you are meaning the Revision Kit (not the Study Text).
The cash balance is 1,063 and the bank overdraft is 429.
So the opening balance of cash and cash equivalents is 1,063 – 429 = 634.
