Good Evening Mr John,
I got stuck with the Sweet Treat Bakery (December 2016) question.
I don’t understand how come the number of minutes in the first question’s answer is 480 minutes for brownies and 330 minutes for muffins at so on.
The batch size is 40 units for brownies, as per what i understand, if total demand is the max daily of 140 units, total number of batches would be – 3.5, and 3.5 multiply by the required time for baking 120minutes = 420minutes total time required for baking in brownies case.
Greatly appreciate your enlightenment.
Many thanks for your videos as well!
The problem is that they can only make whole batches.
So they cannot make 3.5 batches. For 140 units they would have to make 4 batches, and 4 batches takes 4 x 120 = 480 minutes.
So evident.. puhhh
many thanks
You are welcome 🙂
