Hi,
I have spent the past 2 months listening to the lectures and reading study texts but when I go through the Past Exams, I see that the exam has very little to do with what I have learned and learning the text alone is not enough to get you through the exam so I don’t see that there is any point in me revising the text too much. What should I do between now and the exam to help me?

Learning the text alone is of limited use because you are very unlikely be asked to explain any theories or frameworks. You are expected to apply them to scenarios where useful and appropriate.
However, don’t become obsessed with them. First approach questions from a common sense viewpoint, as though at work. Once you think you know what has to be done then think whether any particular models might help you to give structure to the data and to your answer – and often to expand your answer. Involving appropriate models (or parts of them) is important – but don’t explain them, use them.
Therefore, what you should no now is just question practice Refer back to the text only when you need more information about something.
