SIR this is the first time I am using open tuition so I am a bit confused. Is your lectures plus the lecture notes enough to be able to attempt the revision kit well and pass the exam or should I refer the kaplan text book also? Please do reply at the earliest, little worried cause I have always used the text to study for my acca exams.

The notes and lectures do cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam, provided that you do then attempt all the questions in your Revision Kit (and ask in this forum if you are unclear about anything).

However AFM is obviously a hard exam and so the more reading you do the better – in particular it is essential to work through all of the technical articles on the ACCA website.

Much of AFM is revision from Paper FM and although my lectures do revise the relevant parts of Paper FM (which is everything except for the management of working capital) much of the revision is fairly fast. If you come to something that you realise you have forgotten from Paper FM (or realise you hadn’t really understood something from FM) then it would be worthwhile watching the relevant Paper FM lectures to remind yourself 🙂
