    1. All except project X can be scaled down but not scaled up what does this mean?

    2.The project X has a three year contract to supply supermarket chain and can not be varied what does this mean?

    1. That they can do part of project X, but they cannot do more than 100% of project X (the standard definition of ‘infinitely divisible’.

    2. That if they do project X then it has to continue for 3 years – they cannot stop after (for example) 2 years.
