Hi sir
I watched your Iht lectures it was very well explained in a detailed manner. I’m doing past paper questions from an exam kit and sometimes get it wrong by putting ae in on lifetime gifts.
My question is if it’s an exempt transfer due to being well over 7 years why do some questions reduce a/e when working out the nrb and some questions don’t deduct ae?
Thanks

February 25, 2021 at 9:20 am #611642There should be no inconsistences in the ACCA approved material regarding the treatment of the AE and your problem is likely to be that you’re not carefully reading the precise information in the questions and / or not understanding the rules dealt with in the study notes and lectures where what you need to know is all there and demonstrated in examples,
If you can send me the precise information given in each question where you believe this issue has arisen then hopefully I may be able to identify your problem and see where it is you are making a mistake. - AuthorPosts
