Do we get the option to copy paste from question scenario to answer in cbe?
February 11, 2021 at 8:38 am #610005Yes – PLEASE USE ACCA resources!
GO to this page: https://www.accaglobal.com/vn/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f8.html
This has links to all resources including examiners reports, the Practice Platform and Technical articles.Go to first option in the Getting started section “Introduction to Audit and Assurance” – DOWNLOAD the “Guide to session CBEs” in the Resources section of that page. On page 13 of the pdf:
COPY AND PASTE
You can copy text from the Scratch
Pad or question scenario and
paste it into your answers in the
constructed response section of
the exam using the Ctrl-C (Copy)
and Ctrl-V (Paste) shortcuts. Note:
When pasting into a spreadsheet
you must double-click the cell or
paste directly into the formula bar.February 15, 2021 at 3:29 pm #610518Anonymous

I tried this in two
of the specimen exam but in one it worked and in another it didn’tFebruary 15, 2021 at 4:26 pm #610546Well clearly it’s supposed to. A practice/specimen will usually say at the beginning if some functionality is not available.
If you launched the Specimen from this page https://www.accaglobal.com/us/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f8/cbe-specimen-exams.html# rather than through the practice platform it says on the front page that there are some differences (“• In the live exam you will be able to highlight and strikethrough text in the question scenario (this feature is not currently available in the specimen exam)”. Copy and paste also does not work in that version.
When posting questions to this forum it would be helpful if you provided some context to the source of your query in the first instance.
