is there any way that i can know the percentage of parent and subsidiary even if it not mentioned .. in question 25.2 in bpp revision kit , i fail to understand how did they use 30% as for subsidiary
– investment 21000
1$ ordinary share p – 100000 , s – 30000
You can see from the SOFP of Black that they own 21M shares in Bury.
On the SOFP of Bury you can see that they have 30M shares.
Therefore Black owns 21/30 = 70% of the shares in Bury, and so the NCI own the remaining 30%.
