Hi there I am planning to Sit my AA exam in June 21. Most of the skills level exams so far I have managed to do in 3 months but I’ve got a very busy schedule lined up and think I may have to take in sept 21…will see how it goes …
My question would be , would the syllabus change that much as I know my exam kit for bpp and Kaplan will expire in June 21…. I normally use open tuition lessons online and buy both exam kits. By the way can’t thank you enough for all the tutors , they are amazing !!
In your opinion would I have to repurchase newer exam kit editions if I didn’t sit exam come June 21 and delayed till sept 21?
Thank you in advance !
Kind regards
Martin
January 21, 2021 at 1:36 pm #607448You can download the 2021-22 syllabus here https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f8/syllabus-study-guide.html
As you can see most of the amendments are “driven” by the revisions to ISA 315 – we (OT) will be publishing a small supplement to help students transition from June 2021 to September 2022. I think changes to a kit would be mostly cosmetic (e.g. key/non-key controls will be described instead as direct/indirect controls) so I would not expect anyone to need to buy a new kit as long as they pay attention to the revisions.
The “new” syllabus area “F Employability and technology skills” – is actually only a formalisation of CBE skills – it will not require any additional preparation.

It seems I should be fine with June’s edition and keep on eye on your supplement updates .
That’s great thanks once again 🙂
