I have attempt the Pm exam for the third time in Dec 2020 n I have failed …I am very discourage I have used all the resources n watched all ur lecture..I don’t know what’s the problem can u guide me on this as I want to resit on March 2021…
The questions for Dec 2020 that were difficult for me were the market size and share questions in sections b the section c questions were the most difficult n section c questions the theory part….
While in the revision kit I could manage to do all variance Qn n they were easy but in the exam the Qn on variance was very difficult as it was about market size n share n in revision kit there is only one ….how can I get the questions for section b on market size n share that was in exam coz I want to learn the concept behind the like that questions…

I am sorry to hear that you have failed the Paper PM exam.

All I can suggest is that you repeat all of the questions in your Revision Kit, attempting the questions before looking at the answers (so as to learn from your mistakes) and attempting the mock exams provided under strict time constraint as though you were in the real exam.

In particular, when checking your answers to theory questions, study the answers carefully and make sure that you really understand them (and for these and other questions you are not sure about then ask in this forum and I will explain).

As far as market size and share variances are concerned, the reason there is only one question in your Revision Kit is that they have only been asked once before (and it will no doubt be a while before they are asked again). However, it does not require any extra learning (and that question alone will not have made you fail the exam). You can find my explanation as to the logic behind the previous question that was asked on this by searching using the ‘search’ tab on the top bar of this screen.

Yes I know that’s not the only reason behind my fail..but the whole five questions in section B on the variance I was just blank n I lost the confidence of doing the exam…it was very difficult to understand the logic …I want to understand the logic behind that question in dec 2020 so that next exam I am confident that any type of variance questions I can do ….it’s always good to learn from mistakes …so I don’t wanna risk …is there any where that u have reviewed the December 2020 exams questions or I can get the question from…

Thanks for ur advice I will definitely follow up ..
N is there enough time for March exam ..

The ACCA does not publish full exams any more.

They will shortly upload sample questions and answers from the September and December exams.

Depending on where you live, you might be able to buy it from a bookshop.

Otherwise you can buy either a hard or soft (downloadable) copy direct from the publisher’s (BPP or Kaplan) website. If you choose BPP then clicking on the advert higher up this page will direct you to the website and also entitle you to a 20% discount.
