I just check the ACCA website, centre exams had been cancelled in the UK, just wonder is that worth to book the exams remotely? I have no experience with remote exams.

In addition to the above location information, PQ magazine are also reporting that all UK centre based exams for March 2021 have been cancelled and that “students, including those who have already booked an exam at a centre, will be able to book a remote examination from January 25.”

I have not seen the announcement from the ACCA but if that is the case, I too have never sat an exam remotely and wondered when the time comes if I should book or not. I was planning on taking either one or two Professional papers (SBL & APM) depending on my December results for SBL. Any advise from those who have sat the professional papers remotely?

I haven’t yet sat an exam remotely however I know there is a ban on the use of any scrap paper on the desk.
I know this seems minor, however I rely heavily on this in exams and doing it on the computerised scrap paper section I think may slow me down.. just my opinion so I’m weighing up whether to book remotely or wait until June however there’s no guarantee they’ll be running in June so I may just bite the bullet

I completely agree, I thought you were allowed 2 pages of scrap paper but it seems they have updated their guidance and you are not allowed any now. I was hoping to sit FM in March and have no idea how you are expected to do complex calculations without a pen and paper?! I have practised with the constructed workspace scratchpad function and I’ll never be able to type up the short question calculations in the time allocated 🙁
